How Arabic documents come out

Translate an English PDF into Arabic, or an Arabic document into English. Upload a PDF, Word file or scanned page to receive a translated file with its layout retained. Arabic output uses Modern Standard Arabic. Review the credit quote before starting and compare the result with the original.

Arabic runs right to left, while numbers, email addresses and embedded English usually run left to right. Keeping a page layout does not guarantee that every table, label or mixed-script line will be mirrored correctly. Inspect letter joining, punctuation, column order and number placement. For a translated Word file, check the result in the editor you will use to share it, since font substitution and paragraph direction can change its appearance.

English to Arabic, or Arabic to English

English → Arabic

Select Arabic for an English report, notice or contract. Review the Arabic reading order and mixed Arabic/English lines, including dates, email addresses, item codes and table headings.

Arabic → English

Select English for an Arabic PDF or scan. Compare personal names, Eastern Arabic-Indic digits and the calendar used for dates with the original. Translation should not be treated as verification or conversion of a date.

Translate your document and keep its structure

The translator keeps your file’s structure and shows the credit quote before you start. The downloaded format depends on the source file.

PDFs and scanned pages
The translated PDF follows the page visually, with translated pages rendered as images. Selectable PDF text and identical fonts are not guaranteed.
Word documents and PowerPoint presentations
Start with DOCX or PPTX when you have it. Native paragraphs, table text and slide text can stay editable in the corresponding file format. Translated text inside pictures remains image content; review text wrapping and font changes in your editor.
Excel workbooks and EPUB books
Use the original XLSX or unprotected EPUB for a translated workbook or ebook. Review formulas, numbers and text cells in a workbook; check chapter order, navigation and text flow in your ebook reader.

What people translate to and from Arabic

Reports and notices into Arabic

Share an English report, event notice or workplace handout with Arabic readers. Compare the translated page with the original, paying special attention to tables and short labels where reading order is easy to miss.

Contracts and business correspondence

Read an Arabic agreement or letter in English before discussing it with colleagues or a professional. Use an editable Word source when available so you can review terminology and finish paragraph direction in your document editor.

Study material and scanned print

Translate an Arabic article or printed page into English, or English learning material into Arabic. For multi-column pages, check the order of paragraphs and their relationship to figures and captions.

Certificates and personal records

Read a scan of a certificate or family paper while keeping labels close to their values. Check handwritten entries, stamps, names and dates separately. The AI-generated result does not include human certification.

What to watch for in Arabic document translation

A PDF can display Arabic correctly but copy it in reversed order or as disconnected characters. Uploading the source file avoids a manual copy-paste step, but the output still needs review. Faded dots, stamps over text and handwriting can make several letters look alike. Arabic names also have multiple Latin spellings, and dates may use different calendars; check the source and any matching records rather than assuming an English spelling or date is authoritative.

  • Read mixed right-to-left and left-to-right lines in context: phone numbers, dates, email addresses and reference codes should remain associated with the correct labels.
  • Compare table headings, row order and column order with the source; preserved layout is not a promise of automatic page mirroring.
  • Inspect Arabic letter joining, punctuation, line breaks and small text. Check that names and specialist terms are consistent across pages.

Arabic document translation FAQ

How do I translate an English PDF into Arabic?
Upload the English PDF and select Arabic as the target. Review the credit quote before translation, then download a translated PDF with its layout retained. For Arabic-to-English translation, select English on this same page.
Is Arabic document translation free?
Available free daily credits can cover a translation when your balance meets the quote. Upload the file to see its quote before starting; a file within the upload limits may still need more credits than your balance.
What file will I download?
Native DOCX, PPTX, XLSX and EPUB uploads use their corresponding file formats for the translated result. PDF output follows the page layout, with translated pages rendered as images; selectable PDF text is not guaranteed. Native Office text can remain editable, while translated text inside embedded pictures remains image content. Font choice, line breaks and page count can change.
Can I translate a scanned Arabic document?
Yes. You can upload a scanned PDF or a JPG, PNG or HEIC photograph without running a separate OCR tool. Use sharp, upright pages with complete margins. Small print, faded stamps, handwriting and text hidden by marks need careful checking against the source.
Will Arabic tables and mixed English text keep the right reading order?
The formatted workflow aims to retain the layout, but Arabic and English have different text directions. Check tables, punctuation, numbers and short mixed-script labels in the result. Automatic mirroring and identical line breaks are not guaranteed.
Does the translator use Modern Standard Arabic?
The Arabic language option is intended for Modern Standard Arabic. If you need a specific dialect, choose the appropriate supported language option and review its suitability for the document.
Is the result a certified translation?
No. The result is an AI-generated translation without a human translator’s certification. It can help you read a document or prepare a draft. If you need to submit it officially, check the recipient’s requirements and arrange any required professional review or certification.
